Making money with your site

OK - you've got your site, filled it with content and affiliate banners and then after your events in promotion you start getting traffic to your site BUT the problem is you're not making any money. Your problem is that your affiliate banners are for sites that no one wants and you are taking all the risk in putting them there.

There is an alternative solution which I have only just come across and will certainly help you to start making money a lot earlier. The solution is that instead of placing banners on your site why don't you let other people place banners on your site and more importantly let them pay for the privilige.

Say for example you wanted to sell 8 text adverts on your site for $15 a month then you may also charge $1 per day or $5 a week. You need to get out onto these free ad forums that we mentioned earlier and let the guys there know what proposition you are offering and then you should see that some of the slots start to get sold off.
